In 1994, we took over the W H Baker Ford Aberdare dealership in South Wales and we are now regarded as the premier Ford centre in the Cynon Valley. We are less than 25 miles from Cardiff and Newport, two of Wales' biggest cities, and sit just outside the Brecon Beacons.
Aberdare Ford is independently owned and managed by business partners Graham Astrand, Glyn Evans and Simon Roberts-Morgan. Graham and Simon actually began their careers in the motor industry working in the original W H Baker dealership.
As a Ford-only dealer, our staff have developed extensive product knowledge when it comes to sales, servicing and parts. Together, they have decades of experience in the motor industry and with Ford in particular.
In 2017 we heavily invested in renovating our premises with a fully refurbished showroom and outer building to provide a more modern car buying experience.

Graham Astrand
With over 40 years' experience in the car trade, Graham returned to his roots here at Aberdare Ford as the dealer principle in 2005. He started his career here at the age of 17 when the dealership was owned by W. H Baker Ltd.
Simon Roberts-Morgan
With over 30 years' experience in the car trade, Simon also worked at W. H Baker's Aberdare dealership from 1986. He returned to his roots here at Aberdare Ford in 2012.
Glyn Evans
With over 40 years' experience in the service department Glyn became a director here at Aberdare Ford in 2001.
Dean Jefferis
With almost 30 years' experience in the service department, Dean has worked for Ford dealers as a technician since leaving school. Originally, Dean started with Aberdare Ford in 1996 and achieved his qualification as a master technician. After a short while away, he returned to us in 2009 as our service manager.
